Crazy Mrs. Clarke/Spirit Day -- By beating our school goal, we earned our Crazy Mrs. Clarke/Spirit Day, which has been scheduled for Thursday, October 26! All students are invited to wear their spirit wear (or blue and white) that day instead of the usual uniforms. Jeans are permitted for the day, too!

Top Classrooms -- The top selling classrooms will earn a special treat on October 26 as well! Congratulations to first place winner KN, second place winner 1A, and PreK D and 1M who were tied for third!

Top Sellers – Our top sellers also received special prizes this week…Target gift cards! Congratulations to Parker French, Kaelyn McKinnon, and Caleb Paquin!

Daily Winners – Now that it’s October, we are now drawing daily winners! In fact, each of the winners for the first three days were tickets sold by St. Chris students….and today’s winning ticket was sold by a St. Chris alum! Check out the daily winners list HERE!

NEW! Husky Spirit Shirts Order – It’s time for a Husky Spirit Shirt order! For those of you who are new, these are the royal blue shirts featuring our Sparky mascot and “Husky Pride” on the back, with “St. Christopher School” on the front. The kids LOVE them! NEW! St. Chris ScarecrowWe are thrilled to be taking part in the Downtown Nashua’s Scarecrow contest this year! Our scarecrow features a Husky, of course, and is located outside Darrell’s Music Hall. Voters are allowed to cast one vote every 24 hours with each vote counting as one point. To earn five bonus points, voters may take a selfie with the scarecrow and post it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #downtownscarecrows and it will earn our scarecrow 5 bonus points! NEW! Staff/Faculty Kudos – Each month, Mrs. Clarke and the Advancement team internally recognize a staff and faculty member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty…but we thought a few public “pats on the back” are in order, too! September’s Staff “Yay” award went to Mrs. Mitchell for her Admissions work over the summer and October’s Staff “Yay” award went to Mrs. Ternan for her efforts to beautify our school grounds with the help of her student Garden Club. Great job and thank you!!

THIS WEEK! Notify System Test – As we did last year, we’d like to do a test run of our Notify system! This is one of the methods we use for sending out mass communications, including robocalls, text messages and emails. We will be using this system during the year to notify you of weather-related school closings, as well as any emergency information we might need to get out in a timely manner. THIS Friday, October 6, sometime after 9:00 AM, we will send out a test message to all parents using all forms of communication.  Therefore, you should expect to receive several versions of this test message, both through your phone(s) and email. If you do NOT receive the messages, please contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Mass will take place at 9:15 AM and all are welcome to attend it and the breakfast reception. The afternoon will include a craft session during which students will create very special projects for their families. Volunteers are especially needed to help with the afternoon craft sessions…please see the flyer HERE to volunteer!

Interested individuals must have a college degree and a willingness to take full responsibility for a classroom for the day and follow the teacher’s plans.
