February Vacation – Not that anyone needs a reminder, but next week, Feb. 22-26, is February vacation. Enjoy!

Parents Group – The Parents Group will hold their next meeting tomorrow evening, Feb. 18, in the Church Hall at 7:00 p.m. All are invited to join this fun-loving group as they plan upcoming fundraisers and enrichment programs. For more information, email Kathy Moraros at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Auction Meeting – Join the Auction Committee for their next meeting on Friday, Feb. 19, at 8:00 a.m. in the Library. They have lots to do in the next month and would love your help!

Stations of the Cross – The Stations of the Cross will be presented on Friday, Feb. 19, at 2:15 p.m. The Stations are a meaningful way to mark our Lenten journey – and hearing presented by the children is especially poignant.

Yearbook Group Photos – Our Yearbook staff will be taking pictures of all of the St. Christopher School groups (Ski Club, Cross Country, Chorus, etc.) on Wednesday, March 3. Children will be called down to the Church Hall by group.

Healthy St. Chris – Join our Healthy St. Chris committee at their next meeting on Tuesday, March 2 at 1:30 p.m. in the Teacher’s Lounge.  They will be discussing the 2nd Annual Walk/Run, as well as other programming.

Auction Item of the Week – This week’s item is a PSP 3000, with Chessmaster game. Every kid’s dream electronic gadget, the PSP 300 “has an advanced LCD screen, which offers the highest-level contrast ratio, best response time and the widest color gamut possible on an LCD screen. It also has anti-reflection technology, so that you'll get vibrant and natural colors in any conditions. And the built-in microphone enhances multi-player gaming and enables Skype™ calling. Light, slim and as portable as ever. Watch movies. Listen to music. Surf the Internet. You can even watch live and recorded TV.” Wow! Many thanks to the King’s for their donation!

Vacation Raffle – Don’t forget to sell those Vacation Raffle tickets! Look for an exciting classroom challenge to begin when we return from February break! (And don’t worry, if your child has turned in raffle tickets already, they WILL be counted towards the classroom contest!). If you need more raffle tickets, check out the Auction page on our website.

Scrip News – Bonus offers abound in the Scrip Program! Right now, American Eagle has raised its school rebate to 10%, Fashion Bug is offering 6%, and Domino’s has increased to 8%. Look for a Scrip order form in this week’s paper Wednesday News!

School Procedures During Inclement Weather – With winter fast approaching, we would like to review the procedures followed in the event of inclement weather.  Notification of “no school”, “delayed school opening”, or “unscheduled early dismissal” due to weather conditions is announced on radio station WZID 95.7 FM and on TV channel 9 (WMUR). It is also posted on the WZID and WMUR websites.  St. Christopher School follows the Nashua Public School System for all cancellations and delayed openings.

An automated phone call will also go out from the school between 5 and 6 AM.  If you do not want to be included in this phone notification process, please send a note into school and we will delete your phone number.

If there is a “delayed opening”, there will be no school for the AM Pre-Kindergarten. If there is a “delayed opening” on a scheduled early release day, there will be no school for all students.

On “delayed openings” school starts at 10:20 AM for all grades Full Day Pre-K through 6.  Doors will open at 10:00 AM. When there is a 90-minute delay for St. Christopher School, Before School Care will begin at 9:00 AM.

It is extremely important that you make arrangements for your child’s care in the event school is dismissed early when you are not at home, and it is important that your child and the school know what those arrangements are.  Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Hot Lunch – Be sure to place your March hot lunch order on line between February 1 and February 15.  No orders can be entered after the 15th or until your payment for the February lunches has been received.  If you did not receive a Hot Lunch envelope in today’s Wednesday envelope, please send your lunch order payment in an envelope from home.  Thank you.

Hot Lunch Volunteers – Thank you for volunteering for the hot lunch program.  We appreciate your time and look forward to another successful year.  Volunteers are asked to arrive by 11:15 AM.  There is preparation that needs to be completed before serving begins.  Please bring a cap to wear (required by NH Dept. of Health).  We have aprons and gloves.  Also, it is essential that you find a substitute if you are unable to make your scheduled day.  Again, thank you very much for all your help and cooperation!
