2nd Annual Walk-Run – Plans are underway for our 2nd Annual Healthy St. Chris Walk-Run, to be held May 28 at Sargents Ave. Park. This is a wonderful afternoon of exercise and information for our students. Families are invited to participate, too, so put it on your calendar! In addition to the Walk-Run race (children run different distances dependent on their grades), there is a Health Fair with representatives from many different companies and organizations on hand to provide information and giveaways. This year, we are interested in providing race t-shirts for all the children. To make this happen, we need sponsors! This is a great opportunity for some great PR for local companies, as we will be printing the sponsorship names on the backs of the t-shirts. A t-shirt sponsorship is $100. If you or your company would be interested in providing sponsorship, please contact either Marta at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. School Procedures During Inclement Weather –Notification of “no school”, “delayed school opening”, or “unscheduled early dismissal” due to weather conditions is announced on radio station WZID 95.7 FM and on TV channel 9 (WMUR). It is also posted on the WZID and WMUR websites. St. Christopher School follows the Nashua Public School System for all cancellations and delayed openings.
An automated phone call will also go out from the school between 5 and 6 AM. If you do not want to be included in this phone notification process, please send a note into school and we will delete your phone number.
If there is a “delayed opening”, there will be no school for the AM Pre-Kindergarten. If there is a “delayed opening” on a scheduled early release day, there will be no school for all students.
On “delayed openings” school starts at 10:20 AM for all grades Full Day Pre-K through 6. Doors will open at 10:00 AM. When there is a 90-minute delay for St. Christopher School, Before School Care will begin at 9:00 AM.
It is extremely important that you make arrangements for your child’s care in the event school is dismissed early when you are not at home, and it is important that your child and the school know what those arrangements are. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Hot Lunch Volunteers – Thank you for volunteering for the hot lunch program. We appreciate your time and look forward to another successful year. Volunteers are asked to arrive by 11:15 AM. There is preparation that needs to be completed before serving begins. Please bring a cap to wear (required by NH Dept. of Health). We have aprons and gloves. Also, it is essential that you find a substitute if you are unable to make your scheduled day. Again, thank you very much for all your help and cooperation!
