March (marzo)

Last month the kids had a lot of fun playing the chocolate song (see youtube link below). I did too. Enjoy!

This month we are going to be learning about pronouns, to be, and verbs that end in -ar. The little ones are going to be learning Spring songs and all about animals from the farm.

We will be learning about the Holy Week and Easter. We are also going to be learning a Spanish song about America.

I want to thank all the kids that like to volunteer to say the prayers in Spanish during the morning announcements.

Hasta pronto,

Sra. B.

February (febrero)

The children did great with the Spanish Rosary. ¡Buen trabajo muchachos!

Thank you to Mrs. Brown's class for singing the months of the year in English and Spanish. I enjoyed it very much!

We are working on the alphabet in Spanish. Learning songs and games. The game headbandz is a wonderful game to play
during Spanish class. We are translating the words from English to Spanish. This is a game they are going to be able to play at home with their famillies.
The month of febrero is a short one, but full of many fun activities.
The kids can write and say:    I love my mom. I love my dad.  En español.    Amo a mi mamá.    Amo a mi papá.
Hasta pronto,
señora B.
