The St. Christopher Parent Group offers every parent the opportunity to get involved with fun and educational enrichment programs for our students. It is a truly rewarding experience to witness the joy on the children’s faces during these events. Among the many programs and activities the Parent Group coordinates are:
The Parent Group meets in the school Library several times per year. If you are unable to attend the meetings, there are lots of other ways to get involved. Please feel welcome to participate in any way that fits into your schedule.

August 28th- 9:15 a.m. PreK Orientation/ 7:00 p.m. New Parent Orientation
This is an opportunity for new parents to meet one another and get some tips/advice from veteran parents!
September 17th-7:00 p.m.-Parent Group Social
Parent Group is open to any parent in the school! Come to the first meeting to meet new and veteran parents. We will have yummy snacks, treats and drinks! We meet in the Library and discuss upcoming events and activities. We are always looking for help with these events!
October 7th-Teacher meeting 7:45 a.m.
Parent Group will provide a light breakfast treat for the teacher meeting.
October 16th-6:00-Glow Bowling
Come to Leda Lanes for a fun hour of glow bowling with friends!
October 17th-9:15 a.m. Historical Perspectives assembly featuring Ben Franklin
This is a whole school assembly where the children have a chance to meet Ben Franklin! The actor will appear as Ben Franklin and they will learn about his life and role in history. We have had Abe Lincoln, Amelia Earhart, and Harriet Tubman in the past. This is one of the school’s favorite assemblies!
October 22nd-Parent Group meeting 7:00 in the library
November 12th- Teacher Appreciation Soup Lunch
We will be providing the teachers a yummy soup luncheon. Look for a Sign-up Genius to help participate in this event.
November 15th-Pancake Breakfast at Uno’s!
We will be serving pancakes to the school and staff! You can help serve or come and enjoy the breakfast with friends!
November 18th- Parent Teacher Conferences
The staff will enjoy dinner provided by Uno’s with desserts from the Parent Group during the parent/teacher conferences from 4-8.
December 5th-Christmas Tree Lighting
This is going to be our second tree lighting! Come to the school at night and enjoy Christmas carols, hot chocolate and cookies as we light the tree! We will be forming a committee to plan this event!
January 14th-Parent Group meeting 7:00 p.m. Library
January 26th-Catholic Schools Week
This is a week-long celebration of faith and love of our church! The parent group usually offers a whole school enrichment assembly. We have not determined the assembly yet. We also have a chance to earn money for the school by eating at Uno’s all week long! Whether you dine in or take out a percentage of your bill goes back to St. Chris that week! There is usually a classroom contest to see who earns the most money for an ice cream party!
February 19th-Parent Group meeting 7:00 p.m. Library
March 7th- Student Dance Social
Our first dance social! It will be held at St. Patrick’s gym in downtown Nashua! We will be forming a committee to plan this event!
April 8th-Parent Group meeting 7:00 p.m. Library
May 7th and 8th-Used book and Uniform sale at St. Chris
We turn the church hall into a store for the kids! We will be looking to form a committee for this.
May 26th-Grade 3-5 assembly and May 27th-Grade PreK-2 assembly
We not yet determined what we will have for the two assemblies. In the past we have had an owl presentation from Wingmasters, and an animal presentation from Michele’s Menagerie. We have also had music programs.
June 5th-School BBQ!
We have a fun free bbq for the school! The staff has fun serving the food and the kids have fun dancing in the dance tent to music! We also honor the 6th grade with a cake to celebrate their graduation! We will be looking to form a committee for this event.
We will also be thanking the teachers with treats in January, March and May. More information will come as we plan these events.
