Principal's Blog

id000153I am very honored to be the Principal of St. Christopher school. My daughter, Ashley, attended St. Christopher from 1996 to 2003. She is now 23 and about to receive her Master's degree from Rivier University!! She still has many fond memories of her days at St. Chris!

My previous positions include Assistant Director of Special Education in Nashua, Special Education Teacher in Nashua, Pre-K and 5th grade teacher at St. Christopher, and many other positions in and out of education. I consider myself very fortunate. I have had the opportunity to experience and learn within several very unique learning communities, and believe that each school has helped shape me as an educator.

It has always been obvious to me that St. Christopher is a very special place with a rich history of excellence, spiritual celebration and community partnership.

I look forward to supporting our staff and students in the continuation of excellence in all forms of learning and to value our most precious resource… the minds, hearts and spiritual well being of our St. Christopher community.

February Principal Letter

heart_1Dear Parents and Friends of St. Christopher School,

This winter started off somewhat kind to us!  Even though the darkness and cold can sometimes take its toll, be reassured that spring’s light is but a few months away.  In the meantime, we dress warmly and head outside for some winter fun.  Skating, skiing and sledding with the children lift the darkness and gets us through.  I’ve always felt that seeing the world through our children’s eyes gives us a way to create our own light even in the darkest of times.  Hence, regardless of the season, the Light shines; God is in our midst.

Dear St. Christopher Families and Friends,

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:10

As I enter my seventh year as principal of St. Christopher School, I can truly say that I have enjoyed every moment. The days get hectic and sometimes I am very overwhelmed with so much to do, but your children have a way of  warming my heart and making me realize that God has put me here for a reason. You hear this from me frequently; however it is worth repeating to each and every one of you again…you and your children are truly a gift to me. God has blessed me with the gift of being Principal here…I am so fortunate to have answered His call to this ministry. I consider us to be a family, the family of St. Christopher School and Parish. I am truly blessed to be a part of this family. I hope that in some small way, I have been a gift to you, your child, or your family, during my tenure here.
